Colin Bradley

Colin Bradley is a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy at Princeton University and holds a JD from New York University School of Law (’21). His primary research interests are in democratic and constitutional theory. As a Legal Priorities Project Summer Research Fellow, he will be exploring how important constitutional civil liberties like freedoms of conscience, speech, association, and protest should be understood and implemented so that they contribute to the legitimacy of governments without preventing them from taking wide-ranging, longtermist measures to foster global cooperation on our most pressing problems. He has written on the law governing the democratic process in the United States and the challenges of representing disfranchised interests, on access to courts, and on the relation between law and social movements.
